Driving -
From New York and West:
Approximately 25 minutes from the NY/CT border. Take I-95N to exit 21, Mill
Plain Road. Go right off the exit, travel 2/10 mile then turn left immediately
before the railroad bridge into the railroad station parking lot. Convenient
5-minute shuttle service to and from the start area.

From New Haven and East: Approximately 25 minutes
from New Haven. Take I-95S to exit 23, Kings Highway. Go straight for 3/4 mile,
then turn left onto South Benson Road. Proceed one mile south to Jennings
Beach.

Parking -
Parking is
extremely limited and vehicles remaining at the beach after the event are
subject to a parking fee. We encourage participants to plan to arrive in
Fairfield before 7:00 a.m. Depending upon traffic and
parking lot conditions, cars arriving after 7:10 AM may be directed to
alternate parking areas at the discretion of Fairfield Police and/or race
officials. We strongly urge participants to car pool or take
Metro-North.
Train Service -
Take Metro North's New Haven Line to Fairfield Station. From Grand
Central Station we recommend the 5:35 AM
train arriving in Fairfield at 7:04
AM. From New Haven, the 6:55 AM
train will arrive in Fairfield at 7:23
AM. For

Complimentary
shuttle service to and from the train station/Mill Plain road parking lot is
provided at five (5) minute intervals.
Note: The last shuttle leaves the beach
area at 12:30 p.m.
Ferry Service

The Bridgeport & Port Jefferson
Steamboat Company offers numerous ferry crossings daily from Port Jefferson,
Long Island to the terminal in Bridgeport. The ferry is an alternative for
runners arriving the day before. For complete Ferry schedule

Note: The first Sunday sailing will
not arrive in time for the race.
